Inclusive Conservation in the Anthropocene:
On the shores of the Hood Canal, looking across to the Olympic Mountains, as the summer wheels to the solstice, join your fellow CGBD members in a fast-moving, thoughtful program that celebrates non-traditional conservation. Millennials and musicians, elders and economists, are all set on engaging with you to win a more just and healthy world.Sometimes a walk in the woods, a wade in a tidal pool, or a paddle in a kayak are the best bets to exchange information and inspiration, so pack your outdoor gear. This agenda is big on “take-away” tools and ideas—get in an experimental mood. Now to the essentials: Before you follow the RegOnline link, you’ll want to print out the meeting agenda and study it a bit.

You can register for the annual meeting at our RegOnline page https://www.regonline.com/register/login.aspx?eventID=1691408.
After you register for the meeting itself with RegOnline, call the Alderbrook Resort directly at 360-898-2145 to book your room. Make sure you identify yourself as a part of CGBD. Our room bloc is very limited as the trials for the US Open golf tournament are down the road. Be part of the “sharing economy” and be kind to your budget and split a room with a colleague if at all possible. That way, everyone can experience the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Next, book your flight. Fares are very reasonable right now—reserve a flight before the golfers do! We’ll set up a ride share for rental car drivers. If you need a ride, or if you can provide a ride, please let us know by indicating that on the registration form.
