Land & Freshwater Conservation Program

The Land and Freshwater Conservation Program is a network for funders seeking to connect to relevant and high-leverage opportunities to impact conservation and biodiversity protection. Through regular briefings from policymakers, deep-dives into current issues affecting the field, and small group strategizing, Land and Freshwater Conservation Program members work collectively toward results-oriented grantmaking. The Land and Freshwater Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, in March features a full day of Tribal-Led Conservation programming, followed by two days of sessions led by senior administration officials and leaders in the conservation and biodiversity field.

My favorite place in all of philanthropy to learn. BFG is a welcoming and engaging environment, full of colleagues with deep expertise and a willingness to share their time and knowledge. I am grateful for everything BFG does to bring together the community.
